Shwood, as one of the first companies in the market, has started the production of glasses frames made of wood. But, of course, it did not limit itself to it. Another of their idea - glass frames from recycled skateboards – thanks to it, they gained many fans around the world. Now, the time has come for another ecological project.
Shwood is not only known for its passion for recycling, but also for its experiments. While looking at its next project, one should add that they are just unusual experiments. This time the designers have decided to use paper instead of wood and made glasses of old newspapers.
To create this unique and yet experimental series, almost 490 m of newspapers were used- they have been pressed and turned into 10 cm block. It is where the frames were cut from it.
Looking at these original glasses, it is hard to believe that they are made of paper. The structure of the material is very similar to that of wood. Excellent workmanship, as well as the idea itself, are really impressive. The company has once again proven that many materials can be used again. All you need is a good concept and a little bit of desire to create a perfect product.
